Marketing and Catering Director (Part-time or Full-time)

Position Type:  Part-time Director level position with estimated 15-25 hours / week of required availability  (Full-time possibilities by taking on operational responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement plans to build sales while expanding Chick-fil-A Phillipsburg's community reach
  • Plan and execute special events both inside/outside of the store (Once COVID restrictions are removed)
    • "Spirit Nights" in the store -- goal of 3-4 per month
    • "Major" events like Daddy Daughter Date Night, Christmas in July, etc, -- goal of at least 1 per quarter
  • Manage all donation requests 
  • Establish relationships in the community to grow sales via catering or onsite delivery
  • Oversee all social media accounts and utilize to grow sales and brand recognition
  • Utilize reports available to assess effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Proactively follow all Chick-fil-A national marketing plans and fully integrate into the store's plans
  • Take full responsibility for the overall marketing plan and execution which includes:  creating/purchasing all marketing materials, coupons, bag stuffers, catering brochures, sampling schedule, etc.
  • Attend and represent Chick-fil-A Phillipsburg at community events
  • Assist in executing the marketing/catering plan in the store and out in the community
  • Deliver and ensure that all team members genuinely deliver our "recipe for service" to every guest on every visit
  • Become certified and competent in training modules that directly related to marketing/catering and hold others accountable to those standards
  • Maintain vision alignment with the Operator and the leadership team
  • Ensure stewardship systems are taking place throughout the restaurant
  • Provide analytical analysis of sales data for creation of strategic plans to grow the business

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors Degree or above in a Marketing and/or other business major or prior experience in a similar role
  • Proven track record of Marketing and Community relations
  • Demonstrated strong leadership experience
  • Excellent communication skills -- verbal and written
  • Strong computer skills and expert in utilization of social media for marketing
  • High standards in the area of operational excellence, quality, and customer service
  • Exhibits a natural ability and desire to coach, mentor and develop others and themselves
  • Positive attitude
